But at least I'm overall improving.

I played the last round of the current Weekly U1600 90+30 on Wednesday.

TL;DR I had a absolutely crushing endgame with lots of time on the clock and evaluation +1000 but managed to play the one move that draws.

Oops.

But the silver lining is my game is improving. And I won the $50 class prize for the tournament.

Looking back at my blog from August, I wrote:

Likewise, my endgame is weak. Well, not so much my endgame but how to liquidate to a winning (or at least drawn) endgame. I don't think I need to run out and buy an endgame course just yet, but I need to be more cognizant of it in my future games.

So time to really focus on practical endgames for a while, I think!
