7 Days at BoltChess: Analyzing Games and Introducing New Features
It’s been an exciting week at BoltChess! This new platform connects chess players with titled players, offering a unique way to improve skills and enjoy tournament-level games from home. In just 7 days, we’ve seen interesting matches, great new features, and a growing community of chess enthusiasts worldwide!Day 1 - Adding Titled Players and Running Tests!
On Day 1, we started with tests! An interesting fact: it’s funny, but every time we test, we end up playing actual games on Lichess! We started adding titled players and testing the platform.
We never abort the games because we love playing so much—the experience is so engaging and enjoyable!
Day 2-7: We got First Users!

It’s incredible to see so many players diving into the action and sending challenges on BoltChess. With the excitement at its peak, From all the games, we’ve selected 7 games played these 7 days that truly capture the spirit of competition and learning.
From the games below, we can see a common pattern: the players(untitled) handled the opening well but made mistakes in the middlegame (strategy!!!) and endgame(practice endgames !!!). By studying and playing more, we can identify these weaknesses and work to improve them.

An isolated queen's pawn is common in this setup. White aims to trade pieces, targeting the weak d5-pawn to gain an edge in the endgame.
