Trying ones best! A Practical example

Chess
My first win against Stockfish Level 4 (No external help) (24~ Hours Long)

How trying my Very best turned turned a complete loss to a complete victory - Stockfish Level 4.

Trying my best.

This is just my attempt to say "Trying your best really works"
but what does "trying my best" mean? if I look at a game, 10 minutes, I don't see any good moves. I have tried my best, right? and, often games is timed, so I can't look 1 hour on each move.

*Yea, This is also why I have to note, I ignore time limits (I often play without)

So, with that said - What I mean by trying (my) very* best, is like, I actually prove to myself there is NOTHING MORE I can do to try "better" than my current attempting "best". So.. How does one do that?

Instead of giving up, take back, or using a tool (even if it is against a bot), I decided, I will just look at the position when it is difficult, and spend how much time I ever need. (No limit).

I had to actually be AFK for a few hours IRL this day, which actually gave me more time (funnily enough)

So I checked this position on my phone (NOTE* I did not check using tools or something, I literally just went to the link)

# THE GAME

- https://lichess.org/B9RYAmeiWbrQ And - became a anonymous observer, and just looked trough each move , and tried to visualize in front of of me how each possible (candidate) move I did could/would influence the branch of the current game.

I went trough principles, checks, king safety, blunders, positional advantage,

and I decided one thing that made me win this.

# I will ignore Material advantage for this game. I did. And, I turned the game from, VERY LOSING, to 'EVEN', to believe it or not - Absolute win.

I even sacrificed, my queen - a rook, and a knight, and other stuff, to keep the most useful piece (which was a knight and a bishop, the bishop I kept till the last moment)
This game is a example of it's not just about 'win or lose', or 'draw', it's about - Trying ones best. Proving it to oneself, that With ones not best but very best(pushed to the limit) - One achieves marvelous things.

Yes I know, this is 'one game', it's level 4 (GM's can probably beat this PAINFULLY EASILY) but, I am not a GM :) I am, myself ^_^

Thanks for reading and Wishes from Sweden!
