Chess captain s basic rules series #2 notations

The main rules to write notation while moving a piece to one square to another

Hi everyone ,today we are going to see about the notation that i had explined in the previous blog . Let's first learn the notation and then chess rules
In order to write a notation in words, we first have to learn symbolical representations and notation notes for pieces and squares .At the same time we primarily want to learn about the other symbols that we seen in the previous blog . the piece action symbols . For example :if you say "checkmate" it means the king has been attacked and can t move as per the rules of chess . King could be attacked through a combinations of pieces so in chess we represent by using the hash symbols as checkmate and so on. If you think that your piece is moving to one square to another you will notice that it may be a good move or the eval bar may increase and vice versa. Now we are going to learn how to write the notation let s look at it . We first know the symbols of pieces ok.
King-k
Queen-q
Bishop-B
Knight-n
Rook-r
Pawn-square name
In chess we know there are ranks and files
Abcdefgh and 12345678
Now we will learn to write

Here if you want to move the rook at a particular square then we first locate a square and at the same time at this picture we know the ranks and files in the lower edge of the board is the rank and file starting so the first black square,s rank name is 1 and file name is a likely that to the next of white square rank name is 1 and file is b see while noticing it we may think why the rank no didn't change and file number changed because when you horizantally move a pieces the file number changes not the rank when you move vertically the file don't change the ranks changes and when you move diagonally the file and rank changes now let me keep the rook in a square from the old square by just pointing on the desired square
Look guys at the marked square the name of the marked square is for that first we have to right the piece name
And then file last order is rank one rule is there while moving the piece don t write the old square to new square names when you move a piece you must write the new square name here the rook is located on e5 we are moving to the next square which is g5 so the notation is rg5 we say it as rook to g5
When you are checkmating the opponents king in a position then we represent in hash symbol at the same another rule that is never write if you are making like in the picture say the move makes a checkmate then it is represented as rg5# not #rg5 I hope you guys notice execute and write while going to games . Now we have learn about combat . In chess combat means capturing your opponents pieces by using our pieces by trapping them .While we will learn at the future but this concept is important because if we capture the opponents pieces then we will become powerful and our opponent will lose momentum or advantage against us .Most of the people will mistake that they sometimes do illegal moves like capturing there pieces since they are beginners at chess . Now if we become powerful if opponent has some pieces compared us they might have the capacity to defeat us by attacking and threatening our king like threats with building a battery like structure with their own pieces to checkmate us and win we will see at the future what are the basics. Ok coming to the topic we know that how the our pieces moves to one to another squares if your opponent pieces or in your pieces activation square lines then we must capture them if your opponent's another piece is on their another piece then the desired piece should not be captured . Why I am saying this because when you capture the piece .
Their another piece which your piece on their activation square line will capture yours and you also want to apply the value of your pieces that we previously seen if you are capturing queen to queen or same to same pieces means it may be ok we also make sure they have another threats that we see in the future . But when you capture another different piece say bishop to knight you may take because we know that knight is 3 points as the bishop if you capture the knight or equal material according to your capturing piece . Then you might capture it in chess it is called as trading pieces . As we seen the combat at the same time if their king is in our activation square line then it is called as check . If your another piece is near to king and can come to king's next square or your king is going to the next square to escape from their activation piece line then it is called defending or out of check and it also matters which of our piece wiIl be in front of the king if you're taking major for minor piece checks or if another piece can defend it or your king can move means then you can t block with your major piece If a minor piece is attacking make sure should you keep them or not if it is major to minor its OK not minor to major and you can also keep minor to minor and major to major while keeping iit you also want to see is your king is trapped in threats or attacked or can t move if you are in a emergency situation then you have to block with your major piece as the king should be safeguarded if your protecting piece gets captured if the opponent piece is not protected then we can capture it by our king or if is protected then we should move our king if your king is near opponents queen at the corner then it is checkmate. Ok guys let's see In the next blog I will post checkmating patterns and basic rules 3 which talks about attacking plans and threats or chess calculations follow me guys if you understood the blog while seeing my profile . Put hearts or likes if you are a beginner and if you are learning some rules of chess from my blogs let me know

Thank you:)
