2001 OTB Tournament

This was held in Utrecht, NL from 26th to 29th July 2001. It was a closed event only for the top FICS players of that time. For more details, see this blog.

Main details of the event.

Even though this event is called the European Live Antichess Championship, people from any part of the world can come to participate. For details, I’ll just get straight to the point without beating around the bush.

• Location:
  SV De Raadsheer, Kattenburgerstraat, 1018 JH Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
• Sign Up Cost: €20 (₹1681/$22.66/£16.79/CHf21.02).
• Date: 11th & 12th June 2022.
• Capacity of the venue: 80 players.
• Time Control: 8+0.
• Prizes:
  1st Place: 30% of the total registration fee.
  2nd Place: 20% of the total registration fee.
  3rd Place: 10% of the total registration fee.
  +You will get a cup for these prizes.
• Tournament format: Swiss.
• Also, the best Dutch player will be crowned the National Champion in Antichess.

If you have paid and later have to cancel, we will refund the fee as long as the request is done before 12th of May 2022.
