This is just a Quick Summary of the different types of ChessModes

Atomic
The goal of atomic is to Explode the king, each piece has an exploding rate( queen,knight,bishop,pawn,rook) To know more about this check my brothers blog series he will describe it in deph His username is joshkid
Antichess
The goal of antichess is to for the opponent to eat all your pieces for you to win You must eat the piece if to can this is one of the longest,painful , chess mode not to mention Difficult
Three Check
The name says it all you need to check the opponent three times then you OR you can checkmate the opponent it is a very good mode cause it teaches you to think defense wise and attacking wise three check Is a rare game mode not that many people play this because they do not know about it.
Chess960
Chess 960 is a mode where all your back rank pieces(Rook,Knight,Bishop,Queen,King)
Did you know: they named it chess960 because you can move the back rank pieces 960 times An example of a Chess960 is 279
Racing kings
This game mode of chess is WAY different than any other chess mode the board is rack That the pieces are some what sideways the goal of this is for the king to reach to the end of the Board King of the Hill
King of the hill is the mode were the king needs to be in the center of the chess board While black has all its regular pieces To win the game BUT you can also be checkmated so WATCH OUT
Horde
All of white pieces in this mode are pawns and you need to try to checkmate the person While as black you have all your regular pieces Did You Know: white has 58 pawns in the beginning of the game
Crazyhouse
One of my favourite chess modes crazy house happens when you eat a piece You can summon it back BUT not on top of your/opponents pieces Not all checkmates can work in crazyhouse like the ladder checkmate the opponet can summon A piece in front of the king
