DO NOT PLAY FAST GAMES AGAINST ME

DO NOT PLAY FAST GAMES AGAINST ME

Games where there is less than half an hour on each of our clocks are not real games of chess. It is clownish, ridiculous and utterly moronic. Ideally there should always be at least an hour on my clock and on your clock. Any time a fast game is played, you are spitting in the face of the true spirit of chess. Chess is supposed to be about very slow, patient, careful analytics. When you play fast, you are gambling; you are hoping that your memory and intuition (which is only properly developed through slow games) is correct by CHANCE rather than through careful thought.
I wish I could ban myself from fast games, because I truly, truly despise them but I cannot stop myself from continuing to play them.
If you played a fast game against me, even if I won, offer me a rematch with a slower time control.
