Re: Dallas Ft. Worth religious dispute
It seems these parties deserve each other. What a turn of events:
- People are raised with religious beliefs developed at places of worship.
- Some men and women after varying degrees of introspection decide to devote their lives to those places.
- Some successfully consolidate power and preserve order. Reality isn't simple as we wish it to be.
- Allegedly some default on their vows.
- Some later rebel against the status quo, because they believe women are people to be treated with dignity and respect regardless what some overseas authoritarian wearing a fancy hat says.
What can we do?
- Try to protest within those places and their rules, if they elect you.
- Find a place to worship which believes women are people to be treated with dignity and respect. I hear The Satanic Temple is pretty nice these days.
