Solutions
Puzzle of the Week:
This is a forced checkmate for black. 1. d8=Q+ Rd6 2. Qb7+ Rc6 3. Qa5+ Rc5 4. Qb3+ Rc4 5. Qd2+ Rd4 6. Qf3+ Re4 7. Qg5+ e5 8. Qf7+ Re6 9. Qd8+ Rd6 10. Qb7+ Rc6 11. Qa5+ Rc5 12. Qb3+ Rc4 13. Qd2+ Rd4 14. Qf3+ e4 15. Qg5+ Re5 16. Qf7+ Re6 17. Qd8+ Rd6 18. Qb7+ Rc6 19. Qa5+ Rc5 20. Qb3+ Rc4 21. Qd2#.
1.Ndb4+, if black plays Kb3, we can checkmate in 3 moves: ... 2.Nfd4+ - Ka4/Kc4; Nb6#. So the best move here for black is to play 1.Ka1, 2.Nc2+ black is forced to play 2.Ka2, 3.N6b4+ - Kb3; 4.Nfd4+ black has to play 4.Ka4/Kc4 and finally white plays Nb6#.
The only good move here for white is to play 1.Bc7. Black has to keep the rook on the d file, or the bishop will capture the other rook. In the next move, white plays 2.Bb8 to keep pinning the rook on d6, so the other rook has to stay in the d file. And repeat it multiple times; The game is a draw.
This is a forced checkmate, too. 1. Qh5+ Nh3 2. Qxh3+ Kg1 3. Qc8 Kh2 4. Qh8+ Kg1 5. Kh6 Kh1 6. Kg5+ Kg1 7. Kh4 Kh2 8. Kg4+ Kg1 9. Kh3 Kh1 10. Kxg3+ Kg1 11. Qh2#
Fun Bonus Question:
=>The rooks. (For example if it's putted on the a1 square it can attack a2; a3; a3; a5; a6; a7; a8; b1; c1; d1; e1; f1; g1 and h1.)
