Anand, who won his first world championship in 2000 before claiming four more back-to-back from 2007 to 2012, now trains young Indians at his WestBridge Anand Chess Academy (WACA) with the aim of producing the next generation of world-beaters such as Pragg, Gukesh, Vaishali, Raunak, Nihal and more.
Why is WACA having a Celebratory meeting?
The WestBridge Anand Chess Academy had its celebratory meeting last time in September 2022. It's been more than one and a half year and few of their mentees have performed extremely well. Gukesh has reached the World Championship, Pragg and Vaishali made it to the Candidates and much more. The (Tandem) Simul
Tandem Simul is where multiple players can make a move on the same board. For example if I'm playing Anand, Pragg, Gukesh and Vishali can make a move on my board whenever one of them are free. This is my first time seeing Anand and it was a great experience meeting and playing against him. Now let's see the game.

The Experience
It was a very fun and good experience to meet and play with some of the top players in the world especially with Anand. I got to know some ideas, how they think and some tactical motives and I wish them all the best for their upcoming tournaments.
