The Expired Medicine!

The International master entered the online tournament,
In front of him was an unusual predicament,
He had to win the prize money at all cost,
His daughter's ill health, expenses soared fast.

The crucial game was against the world champion,
He sneaked several peaks at a chess engine,
The win guaranteed money, a welcome relief,
Life seemed good, he had avoided grief.

As he made way to the hospital,
Though the daughter condition wasn't critical,
He made way to the pharmacy for medicine purchase,
Hurried back to the doctor with a worried face.

The doctor mentioned he was cheated,
The medicines had expired,
As he decided to yell at the pharmacist in rage,
A message beeped from the world champion:
" Nice game, you are hard to gauge!”
He had a lot of things to change!
