Overcoming the societal pressures,

The rush of pressures were aided by chess,
Which helped them concentrate a bit less,

And a battle that had to be daily fought.

That day, That game, the wife couldn't castle,
She somehow castled artificially,
The King was still safe,
She won the game in style.

After an intense eye contact for a while,
And an assuring, beaming smile,
They both felt they knew what to do,
They were about to bid adieu,
To the gloom,
The flower was surely about to bloom!
