Chess in Europe

Chess
This is a short blog mostly about chess in europe. Hope you like it!!! And Lichess sees this.

Europe is a continent(If you didn't know that). Where you can do lot of stuff including playing chess. There are lots of tournaments in Europe for chess. Probably also the best chess player of our generation was born in Europe(Norway). Chess is from India that's also why probably there are lots of Indians in the top 100 players. I also like chess and I live in Europe, but I'm not good at it. But it's harder to see in live chess than online, probably because I'm bad. The game of chess, or rather its immediate precursor, known as Shatranj, was introduced to Europe in the 9th or 10th century. In 1254, King Louis IX of France issued a religious edict forbidding chess as a useless and boring game. Yeah WTH!? Can someone tell me why he hates chess?

The 14th-century reformer John Wycliffe described the game as a form of lechery. The new pawn move, where pawns were allowed to advance two squares on its first move instead of one, was first introduced in Spain in 1280. THANK YOU FOR READING MY BLOG YOU DESERVE A TROPHY!!!!!!!
