This is a 1987 chess microcomputer, named Mephisto mondial II. It runs on a 6502 microprocessor with 32 kB RAM for the engine and 2 kB for calculating the moves. Back then, the company won the Microcomputer World Championship many years in a row, but with other (more expensive) models.
