What is your Rosen Score?
Oh No My Queen!Have you ever sacrificed your queen for checkmate on Lichess? Have you ever checkmated by promoting to a bishop? Has the fabled pawn trapezoid ever graced one of your games? With the help of a delightful new website you won't have to go digging through hundreds or thousands of old games to find out the answers.

These questions may seem strange to you if you're unfamiliar with the challenges that streamer IM Eric Rosen sometimes gives himself. For some, it seems, simply playing a normal game isn't enough. Maybe you can win, but can you win after playing your first move with the E-pawn and moves 2 and 3 with the G-pawn, thus spelling the word "Egg?" This is the mark of a true master.
This site is one of the many that relies on the Lichess API to function. APIs are basically a tool that allows different pieces of software to communicate with each other easily and efficiently. The Rosen Score website asks Lichess for games to check for the different achievements and Lichess sends them over. If you're a developer that is interested in working on such a project or you'd like to see Lichess operations in action come join our discord.
