I am somewhat new to chess, so please be patient with me. I learned chess in 2018 at age 47. Chess intimidated me because of its complexity so I didn't learn earlier in life. My then-7 year old son learned through his school's gifted program. When I told him I didn't know how to play, he showed me how the pieces move and how chess works. I was hooked. Now we play all the time. I love it!!
