Format & how it runs
- The event uses Lichess Arena. Players play many quick 3-minute games while the arena runs.
- Lichess awards Arena points for wins and streaks — these points decide who wins.
- The Lichess leaderboard export is the official ranking. If Lichess cannot resolve a tie, organizers will use one fair tiebreak (playoff or objective metric).
Fair play & anti-cheat — short and clear
- We use Lichess automated anti-cheat tools and our own manual review.
- Any player caught cheating will be disqualified and prizes will roll down to the next eligible player.
- Winners are provisional until all checks and verification are complete.
Winner verification and payouts
- Winners must complete KYC (ID and payout details) after the event.
- Prize payouts start on 2 Nov 2025, after verification (exact transfer times depend on the chosen payout method).
- Common payout methods: UPI (India), PayPal (International), Bank transfer. Fees or conversion costs may apply by country.
Special prize rules
- Best Unrated: only for players who have a FIDE or USCF ID but show no official FIDE/USCF rating on that ID at registration. Players with a published FIDE/USCF rating do NOT qualify. The top scorer among eligible players wins. Organizers will verify shortlist entries after the event.
- Youth categories: U7, U10, U13 — age cutoffs follow calendar-year rules; organizers may request proof for winners.
- One prize rule: If a player is eligible for multiple cash prizes, they receive only the single highest cash prize; lower cash prizes roll down.
Appeals
- Appeals must be raised during the event or within 15 minutes of the result.
- Appeals require a ₹500 deposit. Deposit is refunded if the appeal succeeds; otherwise it is retained.
