Play the Jobava-London like GM Daniel Naroditsky (Blitz Repertoire Series)
Learn to play the tricky Jobava-London System like GM Daniel Naroditsky with spaced-repetitionBlitz Repertoire Series, Danya Edition
In the Blitz Repertoire Series we are covering the repertoires of notable masters who frequently crush their competition in online speed chess. In the Danya Edition of this series, we are covering the main repertoire of the Legend Himself. In this installment we are covering Danya's treatment of the Jobava-London System. It's been said that Danya is Top 5 in the world at blitz and bullet without increment. In reaching such heights, he employs the Jobava-London System as a primary weapon. Wouldn't it be nice to emulate how he crushes his opponents so mercilessly?
The Study - Play the Jobava-London like GM Daniel Naroditsky
The study includes many of the 6k+ speed chess games that Danya has played in these lines up to move 20, which were downloaded, merged, and then I separated out the lines. In each chapter, I present a Danya main line up to a certain point. After that, you are playing through his games in that line up to move 20. As you play thru the games you should be internalizing the middlegame plans.
Here is the study:
LichessTools
To get the most out of this study you should add the incredible LichessTools browser extension. LichessTools allows you to play through all the games/variations in an interactive lesson chapter (rather than just the single main line). So if you decline to add LiChess Tools then you are only playing 10% of the study (at most).

Note on the Danya course
All of the information in this study was derived from public sources including lichess and openingtree. I am generally aware that Danya and Bortnyk have a Jobava-London course which I haven't seen. As explained in the below blog post, these champion studies may eventually compete with paid opening courses for the attention of the chess improvement community.
Does the rise of Champion Studies threaten the opening course industry?
I am a massive fan of Danya and this study is not intended to undermine his course but that's the nature of the beast. I presume that his course likely has excellent analysis and features that amply justifies the investment. I also encourage you to support Danya and Bortnyk such as by subscribing to their twitch channels.
May the Light of Danya Shine Upon You!
Cheers,
