Chess.com Engines

My elo is about 1200 on rapid, so I typically play against 1200 to 1500 elo bots. I play Lichess on my computer, but Chess.com on my phone. I've already beaten most of the free-to-play bots on Chess.com, so I play against the level 8 chess engine. I have noticed that the elo of the Chess.com engine does not determine how well it plays, but rather how many bad moves it plays. There are times where it completely destroys me one game, but blunders a bishop the next. I find this annoying because I do not get good training against ranked matches while playing casually.
