Why we must protect Environment?

INTRODUCTION

It doesn't surprise me when the global leaders and their minions glorify same achievements over and over again but beautifully hide the deteriorating state of the planet due to imbalances in the ecological setup.
It doesn't surprise me that there isn't even a pinch of repent in the masses even when we failed to uphold protocols like Kyoto protocol and 25 failed conference of the parties.
It doesn't surprise me that Paris agreement aimed to get temperature increment down to 1.5 Celsius but we are heading towards a 3 Celsius increment.

Tragic figures and stats

Below tragic stats and figures are enough to convince the oblivious masses that "Why we must protect Environment?"
A.) In every 8 seconds, a child under the age of five dies from diseases related to contaminated water.
B.) World health organisation estimates that 7 million people die from air pollution.
C.) Asthma alone affected 262 million people in 2019 and caused 461000 deaths.
D.) Overpopulation is Burdening Earth continuously and the worst among the sufferers are Asian countries.
E.) Between 2015 and 2020 we chopped down 10 million hectares of forests per year.

Examples from your life and surroundings

If these facts aren't enough then think about the last time when you were discomforted because someone was smoking near you.
Flip the pages of your life a little bit and think about that day when you had to cover your nose because of heaps of garbage.
Think about that day when you had to walk a long way under the scorching sun and there were no trees and no breezes, just hot scorching sun over your head.
Do a little brainstorming and imagine the life of those who can't breathe properly and have to visit hospitals on weekends because of the fumes released by us.

I am hopeful that if we realise the extremely urgent need to protect Environment and join hands togethers then we will be surely able to tackle climate crisis.

Hope for green Association

There is a lot that you can do on individual level to curb climate crisis.
