clousems heavy metal playlist

@theodorecalexico I'm a big fan of their early albums (Kill 'Em All, RtL, MoP), but their later work is suspect, and Lars isn't a great drummer.
The main 2 reasons I left them are:
a) because they're basically pop music now, and
b) I consider thrash to be a different subset of metal-- the bands in the post are closer to hard rock in terms of their sound. Dream Theater and Queensryche are prog, but their earlier sound was very similar to bands like Maiden or Priest.
@theodorecalexico Just listened to Ride the Lightning again-- I feel as though I've been too critical on them of late. Those first three albums are good enough to carry them.

i never said there new album was good but come on the black album is the goat
Nah-- the GOAT thrash album was either one of those first three or Megadeth's Rust In Peace.

I also like Anthrax's Among the Living.
