Have a tournament match maker that is not the most awful thing I have seen in my life. Please add some common sense things to these.
1. If you play the same opponent again in the same tournament, switch colors. Don't let it be up to chance that you get the same opponent a bunch of times, and they get white or black every single time due to the order in which games are completed.
2. Improve the algorithm which determines which color you get. It is a common occurrence to get 1 to 5 or 6 of a particular color. Aka your random generator stinks.
3. Implement bug house, its a hoot.
