Home of the 2011 US Amateur Team East Champions & 2020-21 Garden State Chess League Champions!

The West Orange Chess Club has been in existence since 1978. We offer United States Chess Federation Rated prize money tournaments (occasionally even Blitz and Rapid events), casual play, game analysis, free instruction and more. We are also the host site for the Garden State Chess League. Plus we have a large tournament room and a nice sized room for casual play, chatter and banter. Please feel free to stop by one night if you’re interested!
