The Green Chess League S1 - Africa

The Green Chess League (TGCL) is a unique and innovative sports league developed in partnership with the African Chess Confederation Players Commission which is designed to uplift society through increased critical-thinking and logical reasoning engendered via active participation in Chess. TGCL is also a medium through which we aim to help develop a sustainable future for our planet through promotion of programs geared towards establishment of responsible environmental practices around the world.

TGCL is a brainchild of the 64K Chess Foundation - a concept which aggregates 64,000 of the best minds on the planet; with groups of 1,000 individuals and corporates representing each of the 64 squares on the Chess board. The mission of the 64K Chess Foundation is to enhance the quality of society by utilizing the game of Chess to improve Critical-Thinking, Logical-Reasoning, and Problem-Solving capabilities of individuals across the globe.
