TOURNAMENT NAME:- VIRTUAL INTER DIVISIONAL CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP (2021–22)

*Interval Between Round- 2 Minutes
*Duration :- 9.30AM to 5.00PM
*Venue :- Online (usingdesktop/laptop/smart phone)
*Last date of entry :- 8thJune2021
*Eligibility :-Tata Steel’s all permanent employees & the employees on contract
having Personal Number. (As per the existing ID rules).

:::::::::::::::::::::::Tournament Rules and Regulations::::::::::::::::::::::::

1. The Championship will be conducted based on Swiss League system of Lichess.Org. All players should download the Lichess app from the Google play store and register their email id and user id.
2. Session:- each player will get 20minutes+5seconds increments from move number one.
3. Tie Break-asper auto system of software.
4. Players will have to play all games to enable their unit to get a participation point.
5. Selection of Tata Steel Chess Team will happen later. Top Ten players from this championship
   will be invited for selection trial.
6. Participants are requested to be present with desktop/laptop/smart phone on 10th June 2021 by
   8:45AM at their respective place.
7. Each Unit can send maximum off our (4) nominations only.
8. 1st, 2nd & 3rd position (individual) will be recognized and the Team championship point will be
   decided as per the existing ID rule.
9. All the games will be monitored by the organizers/moderators/Chief Arbiter. If any player is found using computer assistance or any other unfair means, he/she will be immediately disqualified.
10. During the game, if anyone's Lichess ID is blocked/closed/or violated then he/she will not be eligible for the prize. Your ID should not be blocked/closed/or violated after the tournament or before the prize distribution.
11. Organiser will not be responsible for Lichess server failure or poor internet connectivity.
12. Organising Committee has the right to accept or reject any entry without showing any reason.
13. Tournament Link will be opened 30 minutes before the tournament. You must join the tournament before it starts.
14. No phone calls / messages will be entertained during the Tournament.
15. The Chief Arbiter’s decision will be final.
