Sharjah August Online International Chess Championship 2020

● The Sharjah Cultural & Chess Club (SCCC) is pleased to invite you to participate in the Sharjah
August Online ICC 2020, which will be held via Internet (www.lichess.org), on August 28th, 2020. - Co-organisers
● Sharjah Sport Council.
● Sharjah International Chess Academy. - Registration
● Open only for UAE Residents, limited to two hundred (200) players.
● Registration will be accepted only by online. SCCC & SICA players are in priority.
● Each participant must sent an e-mail to shjchessmasters2020@gmail.com, stating:
○ His/her FIDE-ID.
○ His/her Emirates ID.
○ His/her E-mail.
○ His/her LiChess handle. - Data
● Delay Time will be on 1 minute.
● The playing venue will be the Internet Site www.lichess.org.
● The tournament will be held by a total of 3 minutes & 2 seconds increment per move, per opponent
and per round. - Entry Fees
● There will be no entry fees. - Prizes
● Prizes will be distributed according to the following table. Note that the prizes will not be shared,
but awarded by points, or tie-break criteria, as per Article 7. Winners will be checked & verified
before the announcement of the final standings.
