Rothes Rooks Chess is a casual chess club from Glenrothes in the Kingdom of Fife, Scotland. We are not affiliated to any chess club or Chess Scotland. We were originally founded over a year ago by a small group of chess friends. The aim has always been to enjoy chess and friendship over a coffee on Friday afternoons. We welcome any age, gender or race. Even though we play chess our focus is the social aspect, having a laugh and a bit of fun on the board. True to the founding principles of Rothes Rooks this Lichess group welcomes all comers.
