Nimzowitsch Rapid Cup

The Nimzowitsch Rapid Cup was organized to give all passionate chesslovers an opportunity to play a more professional competition and to try and approach the experience of a live tournament.
Of course this will only work if you tell your chess friends about this team and ask them to join. This way a lot of players will enjoy a pleasant, more slow event.

Professional chess players are highly encouraged to join this tournament, since this would improve the general level of play and give everyone the chance of playing a strong opponent. Of course, everyone is welcome.

▪ Starts the 20th of January
▪ Time control = 15+10
▪ One game every day
▪ Games always start at 19:00 GMT
▪ This is a swiss tournament
▪ Ends the 27th of february

The winner of the tournament will recieve a virtual trophy that he/she can be put on his/her lichess profile (the trophy will have a watermark on it to prove authenticity)
