The Monroe Chess Club is committed to promoting the game of chess and providing a welcoming and inclusive community for chess players of all levels in Monroe, New Jersey. Our mission is to create a space where members can come together to learn, play, and improve their skills in a fun and supportive environment. We believe that chess is a powerful tool for developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, and we strive to promote these benefits to our members and the wider community. Our goal is to foster a culture of sportsmanship, teamwork, and camaraderie among our members through friendly competition and collaborative learning. We are dedicated to creating opportunities for our members to connect with each other, share their love of the game, and build lasting friendships.

Our club is open to all members of the Lichess community, but Monroe residents can play OTB at Jamesbrew Cafe on Sunday mornings from 8am to 10am.
