Main Ideas in The Middlegame:

1. Centralize Your Pieces
2. Exchange Flank Pawns For Center Pawns
3. Don't Isolate your Pawns.
4. Prevent any Weaknesses In Your Position
5. Open Files For Your Rooks
6. Own The Bishop Pair

Main Ideas For The Endgame

1. Get Your King Active
2. Don't Isolate Your Pawns
3. Trade all your pieces except your pawns.
4. Try to Advance a Passed Pawn as much as possible.
