Learning Academy Chess Club!

The Learning Academy Chess Club (LACC) is a club for students (and teachers!) to play chess in a friendly or competitive environment.

There are no requirements to join the club, as we invite players of ALL ages and ALL skill levels!

Maybe you want to learn how to play chess, given the rapid spike in popularity the game has seen with online streaming and COVID restrictions.

Maybe you already know how to play, but you would love to find other players to enjoy the game with.

Maybe you have a competitive drive, and want to see how your skills stack up against the best that the Learning Academy has to offer.

Or maybe you just want to destroy your buddy over the board (looking at you Mr. Willms, still waiting on you to accept my challenge.)

Regardless of the reason, the LACC will provide an awesome opportunity for you to enjoy the game of chess!

As a welcoming, encouraging and positive environment for new players, or even as a competitive environment with ELO ratings, tournaments and rankings for those with a competitive drive, this club provides everything that a chess player could want!
