Hood River Squares

Community of chess players in the Columbia River Gorge. Extension of the club started in 2019 sponsored by the Hood River Library. Hosted by Justin Williams, former coach of Mosier Community School Chess Club. Open to all levels of ability and experience, we encourage sharing and teaching to promote the building of skills and good sportsmanship. While we prefer in-person play, the virtual club is our current substitute. Matches are available anytime, but Mondays from 5-7:00 pm will be designated High-Traffic Meet-up time. Watch for group messages about tutoring/teaching opportunities or tournaments that would happen at this time.
