Heilongjiang-Wisconsin 40th anniversary

This is a club open to all players in Heilongjiang, China and Wisconsin, USA, celebrating the 40th anniversary of their sister statehood status. There will be casual tournaments throughout this summer starting on Saturday, June 18, 2022 open to all players. For Wisconsin, the casual tournaments will be from 8 pm-11 pm on Saturday nights, and for Heillongjiang, from 9 am -noon on Sunday mornings. There will be a tournament just for scholastic players (K-12) on Saturday, August 20, 2022 from 8 pm to 11 pm (on Sunday, August 21, 2022 from 9 am to noon for Heilongjiang) with 200 wooden chess sets and boards made from wood from the forests of Heilongjiang (Black Dragon River).
When asking to be in this group, please include your grade level (or adult) and your school (which we need for distributing the sets). Also ensure that you pick China or United States in your profile, so your country's flag shows up when we see results. This is very important, as we will be giving chess sets to the top 100 players from each state in the August 20 tournament.
For the K-12 tournament, we will also set up a zoom channel.
We have added a part 2 to the tournament, which will be on Friday, September 16, 2022 from 8 pm to 11 pm (on Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 9 am to noon for Heilongjiang). Whatever chess sets are leftover from part 1 will be given out to the top scores in part 2. No one can win TWO sets.
