Chegg Chess Team 2021

All the participants need to be employee of the Chegg Company. This group is formed for upcoming tournament which is going to happen on 6 August 2021.

1. Total Duration of the tournament is 90 minutes and total 7 games will be played by each player.

2. A game will last for a total of around 12 minutes, where each person will be assigned 6 minutes + 1 second increment.

3. Antichess is an eccentric variant where you lose all your pieces or get stalemated to win. Lose all your pieces (or get stalemated) to win the game.

4. Capturing is forced. If you can take a piece, you must. If multiple pieces can be captured, you may choose which piece you capture.

5. Pieces move the same way they do in standard chess; however, kings lose their royal powers - they cannot castle, and checks are no longer a threat. Since kings have lost their royal powers, pawns may be promoted to kings.
