C. R. Walker Senior High School Chess Club- This game stimulates the mind by having the players think critically about every move improving their (frontal cortex) the part of the brain responsible for decision making. Critical thinking skills makes for a better student and social aspects of the game bring different races and ethnicities together. The formalities of the game give students a bit more manners and respect for others and their cultures. Chess gets fun and competitive once you learn the game then the different variations of it.
