About M D Bhagwat

Two Years back on 4th July 2019, former National 'A' player, veteran International Arbiter, a prestigious “Shiv Chhatrapati Award” winner and a well-known organizer from Maharashtra, Mr. M D Bhagwat passed away in Pune. Bhagwat was fondly known as “MD” in the field of Chess. He worked with MCA in different capacities as Executive Committee member, Joint Secretary, Secretary and Treasurer. He has guided and encouraged many arbiters, organizers, players to continue their involvement in sports. He believed in transparency and promoted the sport selflessly for more than four decades. In the memory of him and his great work, Buddhibal Kreeda Trust organizes this event.

1. If we find a cheater, that player will be removed from pairing for the next round.

2. The anti cheating committee has full rights to remove a suspicious player even if the lichess account of that player in NOT BANNED.

3. IF A PLAYER IS FOUND CHEATING AND IS BANNED BY LICHESS, HIS/HER PREVIOUS OPPONENTS WILL BE GIVEN COMPENSATION POINT IN THE FINAL RANKING. (0.5 or 1 point according to the round number, anti cheating committee's decision will be full & final)

4. A player's entry is confirm only after he/she has sent screenshot of payment of entry and his details to +91 9960530207 itself.

5. Fide rating will be considered while distributing Rating Category Prizes

6. Tournament organisers will not be responsible for any issues caused by the player's unawareness or technical issues.

7. No refund will be made to any player for their own mistake.
