As the 3rd Correspondence Cup is almost over (see challonge.com/correspondencecup3), it is NOW time to start the 4th edition of this tournament. As with the 3rd tournament this Tourney will be played in "knock-out mode". This means if a player is defeated in any Round he will be eliminated from the tournament. A score of 2 - 0 OR 1.5 - 0.5 wins the match. If the score remains at 1 - 1 A tie - breaker game will be played OR both players agree on the winner. A match will consist of two games against the same opponent, played simultaneously, one game as white, the other as black. The rate of play will be 2 days per move
In the early Rounds Unequally Rated players may be matched in some circumstances. In this case the higher rated player may HAVE to initiate both games
