I just had two puzzles that were almost equal haha.
The same position only that in the second one black moves a pawn.
I think it's a bug because it should not show consecutive moves of the same game. Or if you are going to that don't do it one after the other.

It is not a bug because Lichess has a selection of puzzles and when many of the puzzles are done it will sometimes repeat.
No, the IDs are consecutive. Means they were created automatically at almost the same time.
It is a bug in the script or thing that creates the puzzles. It should avoid using the same positions for puzzles. I got extra free rating for the second one just because I solved the first one. Which means I got an equivalent rating as if I had solved a 2500 puzzle when in fact was 2100.
You can see it as if you were given extra rating for solving a puzzle, which is a bug IMO.
How much rating did you get? Usually if you get two consecutive puzzles with the same ID, others will as well. Hence, the second one is often rated much lower than the first one, and rating gain will, following that, be significantly lower as well.
I see it as a chance to test my understanding of how the position changed after a move or few. At any rate, it doesn't happen that often at all. I personally don't see it as a bug.
First one was 2100 rating, the second one was 2000.
It's not about how much, I don't care. I am just notifying about a bug, that's all. I know it's not priority number one right now but helps that they know this happens.
Just checked, one is 2290, other is 2019. That's because it came after the first one, but it's still rated over 2k, meaning it's hardly "free points", many got it wrong.
