Control over created tournaments

Hi!
We have started organising tournament for kids and got some problems with cheaters and other practical details.
Is there a possibility to have some control over tournaments that you create?

- Is it possible to delete your tounament?
- Is it possible to change something in the created tournament, like time to start, allowing berserk etc?
- How could you block a certain user from playing?

Thank you!
@Fleur_Syigestie

1. “Is it possible to delete your tournament?” Yes, but only if you, the creator, are the only one who has joined at that moment, and you withdraw from the tournament. Otherwise you would need to ask a moderator to delete it.

2. “Is it possible to change something in the created tournament, like time to start, allowing berserk etc?” No, once you have created the tournament the settings are fixed.

3. “How could you block a certain user from playing?” You could set a password for the tournament (it’s in advanced settings, I believe) and only give the password to users you trust. Also, if you think someone is cheating, use lichess.org/report

Hope this helps!
ah right
Well, no, probably it doesn't work this way. I actually have been doing this all the time, creating the tournament and withdrawing myself immediately, as these are tournaments for young players.

That’s weird, I just created a tournament to test this, I withdrew immediately and it got cancelled. Do you use the advanced settings to schedule it at a later date? Maybe it’s different for those
@Fleur_Syigestie

Ah, I just tested that, and it does indeed not automatically cancel. In that case asking a moderator is the only way to delete those tournaments.

And by the way, another way to only allow certain users in your tournaments is to make a team that needs a confirmation to join. Then you ask everyone you need to join it, but no else can get in. And you use the advanced settings to limit the tournament to only accept members of that team. This is safer than using a password because someone else can share your password, whereas no one can join your team without you seeing and accepting their join request first.
