@Doofenshmirtz op problem is not aborting/sitting. He just doesn't like when he lose and opponent doesn't accept his rematch offer.
Telling the truth I myself accept rematch offers very rarely. Sometimes I accept but it needs some friendly communication at least.
@gbtami So maybe add an option in preferences for "accept rematches" and that way if a player had it set to no then you couldn't even request one, avoiding the disappointment some people feel when rejected?
Another option to avoid hurt feelings would be to remove the rematch feature entirely and require players to issue challenges some less convenient way.
I think it's better to learn to accept that sometimes you are rejected. You know it's part of the life :)

I still would love v1 back tbh, despite your relentless mocking of anyone who had problems with it. Lichess v2 is still clunky after all this time to the point that anything faster than 3-2 is impossible for me to play.
