If you're using a script blocker, you will need to unblock lichess.ovh.
I have a chromebook which says I have a Chrome OS Version 70.0.3538.76 (Official Build) (64-bit).
Try private browsing to see if it works.
If it does work, maybe all you need to do is to clear some old browser history.
