Top 1000 instead of Top 200

I suggest that Lichess changes Top 200 by Top 1000. I would even suggest Top 2000. There are millions of reasons for this change. One obvious one is that 200 is a very small number for the millions of people who plays chess around the world. FIDE for example, give you a place. For example, I am 26 in the FIDE ranking of Ecuador and 11921 in the World. I would also copy the FIDE idea of a ranking by country. Another important point, with 2000 players we can calculate better statistics. Some of the global rankings for universities have 500 universities. Who see these rankings? People who cares about rankings. It is a big motivational factor for some people, and some institutions as well. Additionally, the cost would be close to 0. What do you think about the idea?

Why? That would be a way too large list.

200 is a big number as well. The same reasons apply for 2000. Also, the robot performs the list.

Nothing is impossible. In fact, it would be very easy. Every player has a flag, or a no-flag. You just filter by flag. Most of the players would be in a country. Others would be in a no-flag section.
