Sound problem with Safari 15.1 at macOS Catalina

No sound for moves since the update of Safari to 15.1 on a MacOS Catalina (Intel) system. Weird: «Speech» works but no other sound theme. Sound at other pages is fine.

On a M1 (Monterey) with Safari 15.1 sound works as usual.

Same Issue, I think you have to clear the caché and reopen the app and it sometimes work.

A few, but not related to sound or Safari.

If you go to Safari > Preferences > Websites > Auto-Play > then selecting "Allow auto-play" for "Lichess.org", does it work?

Otherwise it seems to be a more general issue with Safari 15 and Catalina: discussions.apple.com/thread/253175984 Hopefully Apple will deploy a fix soon enough.

I've seen this suggestion in an older thread regarding sound problems in Safari, but here it didn't help. But you might be right with the general issue. So, let's see and wait.

+1 same problem here for 2 weeks.
Autoplay doesn't solve anything.
Please find a solution, this is the only site where I have this sound problem.
