The task of the day

The task of the day on the front page is tricky. A task with more than one good move combination is usually chosen for it. There are cases where the required best move option is not even the best and simplest. Wouldn't there be unambiguous tasks and solutions to it? If the “best move” is not the best, then the task does not serve its purpose.
Do you mean the puzzle of the day? In Lichess puzzles there is always a single best move, which is, I think, at least 3 full engine eval points better than the second best move.
Do you have an example, where this is not the case?
I believe that when making puzzles Lichess calculates to a very high depth. 30 or something. It's quite certainly the best move, unless you want to say that you evaluated the position more accurately than Stockfish.
Yes, puzzle of the day is its name in English. I will be happy to give an example that there may be a better solution. This will only take a good while before such a clear example can be found. General note: the more pieces - at the beginning of the game - the more ambiguous the solutions are. It’s hard to know when a small advantage in qualities is enough. Or when again is more required.
If you find a faulty puzzle, report it. Not sure what you mean about "simplest". Some puzzles are harder than others.
By “Simplest” solution, I mean that it is the simplest, most direct way to the result. Not how hard it is. :-)
OK, sure it has been also talk before. I’m just assuming you can post your own feedback on this column. Hard to say if "faulty" is the right word, I meant a different kind of possibility. The end result is the same.
A puzzle can have multiple solutions only if these lead to the same result in the same number of moves.
If you find a puzzle which should have a different line as solution or missing an equal move or anything wrong you can make a thread about it in this forum (after checking the engine to see if your solution is good).
