Recently, the newspaper read about a drug addict who had hit the windows of a shop, devastated and robbed it and then slept his intoxication on a park bench.
These are also the words that would be appropriate if a war criminal and his accomplices devastate a city of a sovereign nation as shown on the pictures here:

Putin's soldiers, you are not "conquerors", but run-down murderers, thieves and rapists who do not even shy away from killing and hurting innocent children.

The drug addict mentioned above at least has not hurt or killed anyone, he is morally far superior to those of you who take part in this huge war crime and to those, who applaud.
When will you wake up? When will you stop acting just like criminals and making common cause with them? When will you come back to humanity?

lol What planet are you living on? Guys like that are among humanity's most enduring features.
It's a good question and it's goddamn time for peace. But we can't plan a road back to peace without those who are in charge of this invasion. No use convincing those soldiers. I think most want to go home, but can't. Many fled the draft. They know they are going to get shot either way. If they refuse to kill their brothers, they will be killed by their own. I think Putin can't come back empty handed after losing so many of his men. He needs to bring back some spoils of war, like Crimea. To Ukraine that's going to be a tough, if not impossible handshake to make. Perhaps it's time for another handshake after that, where we agree with Putin where the border between Russia and Europe should be. After that agreement, NATO defense pacts and the nukes on both sides will more or less freeze that border forever. It will be an ugly deal, but it's the only way I can see us going towards a lasting peace.

The peace terms were there always, easy to follow, simple, there was no secret. Keep the missiles away from Russia.

This was a 20 year + long warning that was not only ignored, but taunted over and over and over and over again.

I dont condone the invasion, but it was warned. They shouldnt have taunted the rabbid dog. It bites.

Which missiles?

How did they taunt?

NATO is basically a military alliance, not specifically against the USSR, but technically that was the reason it formed.

Every country that joins NATO accepts to have a military base from NATO, and they add a missile system, both offensive and defensive.

Over time, when the USSR dissolved, many countries that were part of the USSR were joining here and there, thus, the missile systems got closer and closer.

Russia was telling everyone they would retaliate if the missiles got closer to Russia, they told everyone over and over for more than 20 years, yet, the missiles were creeping on, ignoring the warnings. Thats how they taunted.

This war is because Ukraine decided to join NATO, and thus, putting the missiles in Russia's backyard. They were warned for over 2 decades. Im not sure why everyone was surprised they acted according to the warnings.
