Why does Lichess have a close account option?
To close your account. :D
maybe you failed too much and had like a negative rating and you wanna start again?
Why did the admins add this though? What where they considering when they added this option?
I think a better question is, why not?
Why pester the admins about a feature that has been around for yonks without any apparent reason?
You have the ability to close your account should you deem it necessary. If you REALLY need it reopened, you can contact the mods.
