I lost a -7.6 winning endgame because of this. The least Lichess could do is refund rating points. I've had this happen to me several times and frankly I'm considering switching to chess.com.

"Throwing a tantrum" is obviously a relative problem, but still - losing a game because of a (widespread) server problem is a valid concern. I lost a rated game to a relatively lower rated player (and lost a bunch of rating as a result). Fine, life will go on, I'll try and make back the rating.

But then also "Warning, letting a game time out instead of resigning" warning? Unfair. I rarely let games time out or disconnect so one warning on my account will probably make little difference - but this might not be the case for everyone.

Then there was the message after the fact that 'Lichess was updated' - which means this was an outage that could totally have been foreseen. Forewarned people about. And accounted for the rated games and timeouts.

Hi can I please get this game deleted or drawn ? It was a disconnect from lichess server ...
