won't stay logged in

Recent bug, that wasn't happening to me before: every time I return to lichess, I have to login again. It's quite annoying.

They haven't changed, that's why it's confusing. It's not that the browser doesn't remember my password (I rarely use that feature), it's that lichess signs me out.
