I dont understand the sense of berserking - except the possibility to play more games and gain more points in arenas. But - you never have a chance for a good place without it. Played now the Kazakhstan Stage Qualifier - beside the fact that i am not strong enough for such a competition, but look at first 20 players - you only have the chance with berserking. The problem - you never can use your time. Rapid changes to Blitz, Blitz changes to Bullet - the quality of your moves is not important, only speed. I have doubts that this kind of chess improves your chess..... - and its a reason why i never play a Arena with longer time-control than 5+0. For rapid-tournaments only Swiss or Round-Robin makes sense....
