Technical complexity does not good piano music make. Can the be the opposite even. E.g. compare Liszt's etudes to Chopin's..
@GrandLapin Ok just look at Liszt's Transcendental Etudes. Those I've heard and seen are nearly impossible (along with la Campanella). I'm still starting Chopin right now, so I'm 1 level below that. But Chopin made pieces that are less complicated than Liszt. But then once again, if you play Liszt, you are competing between your desire to mash keys on the piano and your reasoning/rationality.

But Chopin's etudes definitely sound better.
I am talking about musical substance, which the transcendental etudes are far lower on than Chopin's
I have composed some original classical music. No idea what format would be postable here though. Mostly I have it in wav files and I have lost a lot of my scores that I did in Finale.
I think Antonio Salieri's music will continue a slow return to the classical repertoire. I've been listening to Salieri on streaming recently. The movie Amadeus portrayed him as a murderer, that was not true - just Hollywood stuff. Salieri was on good terms with the Mozart family including after Mozart's death.
